He is survived by: his parent Emerson Roscoe Buffkin; his children, Richard "Ricky" Elliot Buffkin of Chadbourn and Amy Buffkin of Jacksonville, FL; and his siblings, Rachel B. Bulliner of Elizabethtown, Ann B. Gigurie of Elizabethtown and Larry Edison Buffkin of Elizabethtown. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
