He is survived by: his wife Mary Joy Nowell Strickland; his daughters, Emma Cozart (David) and Ruth Strickland (Rick Lopez); his siblings, Loraine Jones, Pansy Crowder and Larry Strickland; his grandchildren, Phillip Cozart (Brandi) and Grace Cozart; and his great grandchild Hilton Cozart.
