It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ormand Strickland (Wendell, North Carolina), who passed away on July 27, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Everett Strickland and Hersie Kelly Strickland; his wife Peggy Hinnant Strickland; and his siblings, Roderick, Cecil, Leamon, Raymond, Wilbur Strickland, Naomi Strickland and Elsie Strickland Finch.
He is survived by: his son Tony Kelly Strickland; and his close friend Margaret Bunn. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Flowers are accepted or memorial contributions may be made to Clyde's Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund.
