With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Anthony of Wendell, North Carolina, born in Knightdale, North Carolina, who passed away on July 25, 2021 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene H. "Gene" and Doris Robertson Anthony; and her brother Zachary Taylor of New Bern. She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Catherine Jones of Smithfield and Amanda Lynne Willis (Robert) of Smithfield; her close friend Eddie Gregory Satterfield of Wendell; her grandchildren, Mikeal Dameon Satterfield of Wendell, Brendon Koddi Satterfield (Melanie) of Smithfield, Christopher Scott Satterfield of Smithfield, Jaiden Patrick Escobar of Smithfield, Marrisa Diana Escobar of Smithfield and Hudson Meyer Willis of Smithfield; her great grandchild Liam Satterfield of Smithfield; her sisters, Margaret Susan Hernandez (Robert) of Zebulon and Kathy Gene Richardson (Allen) of Zebulon; and her sister-in-law Judy Taylor of New Bern. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews; and fourteen great-nieces and nephews.
