She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Daniels and Inez Daniels Sullivan; her former husbands, Dwight Adams and E. C. Poole, Jr.; and her siblings, Clyde Daniels, Jackie Daniels Hudson and Ed Daniels.

She is survived by: her husband Wade Eugene Bender; her children, Joy Adams Biggerstaff (Ron), Kenny Adams (Vickie), Kim Adams (Rhonda), Jan Poole Gaines (Todd) and Chip Poole (Michelle); her siblings, Mack Daniels, Randy Daniels, Keith Daniels and Betty Daniels Marshall; and her grandchildren, Joshua Powell (Shannon), Kim Adams, Jr. (Suthanya), Chris Adams (Veronica), Cameron Poole (Brooke), Matthew Poole (Brandi), Parker Adams, Jonathan Adams (Caitlin), Adia Gaines, Tessa Gaines and Adriane Gaines. She is also survived by friends, and especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
