She was predeceased by: her parents, James Elam Painter and Evelyn Boyette Painter; her husband Willard Richardson; her stepson Jeffrey Carroll Dean; and her brother James Alfred Painter.
She is survived by: her stepson Dwayne Elam Dean (Kim) of Pikeville; her grandchildren, Hunter Richardson Dean (Anna) of Pikeville and Kennedy Jane Dean of Pikeville; and her brothers, Robert Henry Painter of Wendell and Clifton Lee Painter (Deborah) of Wendell.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to her beloved church, Clyde's Chapel Baptist Church Building Fund.
