He is survived by: his wife Gloria Corbett Howell Hovaniec; his children, Douglas Christian Hovaniec (Shelley), Lynelle Amy Clark (Howard), Samantha Jean Hovaniec, Valerie Bloodworth (Michael) and Kimberly Sue Howell; his grandchildren, Jake, Annette, Rose, Billy, Bryan and Nicole; and his siblings, Lester Hovaniec and Patricia Creighton.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hephzibah Baptist Church Missions Fund.
