It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dennis Fuller Leonard of Wendell, North Carolina, who passed away on June 3, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ollie Fuller Leonard and Elizabeth Barham Leonard. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jeffreys Leonard; his children, Patches Kaye Morris of Saint Petersburg, FL and Robert E. Hopkins, Sr. of Zebulon; his grandchildren, Paisley Maddox of Saint Petersburg, FL, Robert E. Hopkins, Jr. (Alicia) of Wendell and Tammy Barrientos (Rico) of Maryland; his great grandchildren, Nova Rain Hopkins of Wendell, Christian Medlin of Zebulon, Abigail Barrientos of Maryland and Julian Barrientos of Maryland; his sister Vicky Aldridge (John) of Wake Forest; and his cousins, Linwood Barham (Barbara) of Wake Forest, Jerry Carter (Janet) of Rocky Mount and Tink Thomas (Dona) of Raleigh. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
