He is survived by: his wife Patricia Freeman; his children, Van Freeman, Jr. (Wendy) and Tricia Milligan (Brent); his mother Lois Adams Freeman; and his siblings, Barry Freeman (Joan) and Terri Belles (Timothy). He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.
