He was predeceased by: his mother Rosolene Leonard Lewis; and his son Christopher Scott Kindred. He is survived by: his father Marvin Lewis Jr. of Wake Forest; his stepmother Barbara Dill Lewis of Wake Forest; his brother Thomas Wayne Lewis (Amy) of Apex; his niece Carlee Lewis; and his nephew Keaton Lewis.
