She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Bruin and Mary Bruin; her husband Leon Harding Christopher, Sr.; her grandson Leon Christopher Harding, III (Julie); and her sisters, Anna B Gerber and Ware B. Blaimire.
She is survived by: her son Leon Harding Christopher, II (Angela) of Raleigh; her grandchildren, John Vernon Christopher and Alexis Christopher Buchanan (Andrew); her son Ralph Cannon Christopher of Wake Forest; her grandchild Allyson Christopher Corvin (Mark); her son Stephen Scott Christopher (Lisa) of Boydton, VA; her grandchild Shirley Elizabeth Christopher (Charlie); and her children, Marylaura Christopher McKoon of Henderson, Thomas William McKoon and Todd Christopher McKoon. She is also survived by mom who always put her husband and children.
