He was predeceased by: his mother Lotus Autrey Queen; and his grandparents, Nettie Boone Autrey, Bill Autrey, Viola Stafford Queen and Rucker Queen.

He is survived by: his brother Marty Queen (Sandra) of Marion; and his cousin Trinita Deaton of Morganton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Haywood Hospice and Palliative Care, 13 Haywood Office Park, Suite 107, Waynesville, 28785.
