It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Jeanne Medford (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on October 14, 2022, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Donald and Betty Mull Shields; her father-in-law Frank Medford; and her brother-in-law Stephen Bell. She is survived by: her husband Charles Frank Medford; her sons, Halston of Waynesville and Cash Medford of Waynesville; her sister Lisa Shields Harris (Jerry) of Morganton; her mother-in-law Peggy Medford of Waynesville; her sisters-in-law, Dr. Marla Medford Bell of Kennesaw, GA and Penni Medford Breivik (Kenneth) of Columbia, SC; her nieces and nephews, Kyle Barrier of Morganton, Luke Breivik of Lexington, SC, Matthew Breivik of Columbia, SC, Bethany Bell Pearson (Matthew) of Woodstock, GA and Kaitlyn Harris of Morganton; and her close friends, Lorri Hubbard Smith, Pattie Johnson Hollinger and Jenny Wood.
