She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Messer and Pearl Conard Messer; her son Michael Green; and her sisters, Margaret Sutton, Mattie and Lucille Williams.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles (Katherine) and Randy Green; her brothers, L. J. Messer, Roy Messer (Shirley), Ben Robert Messer (Karen) and James Ray Messer (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Angela, Matthew (Whittney) and Brian (Nikki). She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
