It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Max Paxton of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on November 6, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father John Paxton; his wife Mary Christine Hogan Paxton; and his siblings, Troy Paxton, Charles Paxton, Nancy Paxton, Joyce Gibbs and Geneva Morancia.
He is survived by: his son John Paxton; his grandson Austin Paxton (Kennedy); and his siblings, Janie Henderson and Bobby Paxton (Mary Lee).
