She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Howell and Marguerite Sloan Way; and her siblings, Marietta Campbell, Martha Barber, Hilda Brown, Joseph Way, III and Charles Way.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary "Marsh" Parris and Gayle Campbell; her grandchildren, Whitney Parris-Lamb and Benjamin Parris; her great grandchild Emerson Mark Parris-Lamb; and also, Kevin Campbell, Chris-Parris Lamb and Nandi Theunissen.
