It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Wayne Colford of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on May 31, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Louise and Robert Earl Colford; his former wife Johanne Colford; his wife Gail Colford; his sons, Allan Mutch and Rick Seibert; his siblings, Marilyn Kaehler, Carroll and Walter Colford; and his son-in-law Bill Staib.
He is survived by: his children, Melissa Lane (Lawrence) of Brewer, Vickie Staib of Waynesville, Helen Pollifrone (Frank) of Waynesville, Callie Grippo of Middletown, Connecticut, Jim Mutch (Linda) of Taylor, Bob Stackhouse of Columbus and Ed Seibert (Amy) of Westerville, Ohio; his siblings, Terri Kinney of Bangor, Maine, Ray Colford (Linda) of Orrington and Bob Colford (Sharma) of Rhode Island; and his sister-in-law Lucille Colford of Bangor, Maine. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
