He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Marion and Etta Kuykendall Norris; his wife Lillian Hatherlee Norris; and his siblings, Lena Blaylock, Edith Gragg, Virginia Michael, Rosa Hall, Carrie Martin, Ethel Heatherly, William "Bill", Roy and Ned Norris.
He is survived by: his children, Shirley Dean (Ronnie), Judy Stamey (Jerry), David (Barbara) and Jim Norris (Linda); and his grandchildren, Tammerah Garren, Jennifer Rathbone, Amie Hall, Wendy Henson, Tonya Finney, Bryan O'Neil, Kyle Norris, Jennifer Norris, Ken Norris, Shane Praytor, Trent Praytor and Carla Moore. He is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren.
