James Palmer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Palmer (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on February 9, 2020 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Elmer Palmer and Elizabeth Adeline Underwood Palmer; his siblings, Pauline Wilson of Waynesville, Doris Jean Dotson of Waynesville, Hazel Henson of Waynesville, Geneva Moody of Waynesville, Betty Gilliland of Waynesville, Patsy Gilliland, Tom Palmer and George Palmer; his wife Nellie Louise Muse; his daughters, Bonnie Louise Palmer and Laura Jane Higgins; and his grandchildren, Amy Boozer, Ginger Webb, Louise Higgins, Jason Higgins, Jason Browning and Jake Webb.

He served on the Ratcliffe Cove Cemetery Committee for years and requested in lieu of flowers all donations be sent to support the cemetery.
