He was predeceased by: his parents, William McKinnley Ferguson and Catherine Muse Ferguson; and his siblings, Ruby Alden, Edna Harker, Mary Keener, Bonnie Hanson, Claudine Greene, Judy Shirley, Gerald Ferguson, Ralph Ferguson, Mike Ferguson, Dan Ferguson and Steven Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Juanita Folkes Ferguson; his daughters, Melanie Gibson (Tom) and Crystal Mashburn; his grandchildren, Amber Hyman (Mark), Abigail Newton (Reuben), Emily Ray (Colton), Lydia Mashburn, Tiffany Gibson, Thomas Benge (Savanah), Jonathan DeLozier, Ethan DeLozier, Javen DeLozier and Thomas Gibson (Kristy); his great grandchildren, Emma Hyman, Eli Hyman, Carson Ray, Caroline Ray, Cade Ray, Clara Mae Newton, Scarlett Benge, Liam Harburn, David Gibson and Seth Gibson; and his brothers, Eugene Ferguson and Terry Ferguson (Nancy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
