She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Moody and Myrtle Ashe Moody; her husband Leonard Lee Leatherwood; and her siblings, Leslie Moody, Jr., Jim, Gene Moody and Mohela Medford.
She is survived by: her son Terry Leatherwood (Eileen) of Waynesville; her sister Joyce Robe of Franklin; her daughter-in-law Dr. Darlene Leatherwood of Waynesville; her grandchild Jeni Glasgow (Sean); her great grandchildren, Douglas, Megan, Kaitlyn Glasgow, Cooper and Everly Leatherwood; and her sister-in-law Sheila Moody. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the choir at Maple Grove United Methodist Church, 79 Maple Grove Rd, Waynesville NC 28786.
