With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hettie Owen Pierce of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on June 7, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Daniel and Mary Magdeline Rabb Estes; her former husband D. L. Owen; her husband Frank Pierce; and her siblings, Nancy Derrick and Daniel Estes.
She is survived by: her children, Sherry Cseledy (Tom) and Jeff Owen (Kim); her sisters, Lois Smith, Louise Williams and Regina Frances; her grandchildren, Kristian Hawkins (Kelly), Logan Brown Hunter (Amanda) and Joey Marcus; and her great grandchildren, Kendall Inman and Kimber Hawkins (family: Lynne Berdini, Laurie Boszczuk, Lorna Gatti, Bill Pierce). She is also survived by eight step-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.
