He was predeceased by: his parents, Newton Hilliard and Ethel Jordan Davis; and his siblings, Frank, Eugene Davis, Peggy Davis and Patricia Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Jessie Jones Davis; his sons, Jeff Davis (Renee) and Leonard Davis (Becky); his grandchildren, Judy Hickman (Willy), Joni Elkins (Michael), Allegra Davis and Tiffany Davis; and his great grandchildren, Aneissa, Phoebe, Tage, Kolten, Nevaeh, Karina, Khiyah and Jade.
