It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Darrell Wayne Barnette (Waynesville, North Carolina), who passed away on April 15, 2023, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Barnette Barnette and Judith Smith Barnette; his sister Cyndi Mintz; and his brother-in-law Randy Cloer. He is survived by: his wife Della "DJ" Ledford Barnette; his children, Andrea "Nikki" Foley (Andrew), Brandon Conard (Amber), Monica Luther and James Luther (Tabitha); his sister Dee Dee Cloer; his uncle Ronnie Smith; and his brother-in-law David Mintz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nephews, extended family, and close friends he considered brothers and sisters; and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Carolina Caring Sherrills Ford Hospice.
