It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carlton Stewart Maney of Waynesville, North Carolina, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughie L. Maney and Annie Sloop Maney; his brothers, Howard, Forest, Conrad, Gilbert and Donald Maney; and his stepson Scott Lance.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Chambers Maney; his children, Randy Maney (Jackie), Rick Maney and Kim Whitfield (John); his stepson Gary Lance (Kathy); his grandchildren, Johnny Whitfield and Jennifer Travis (Jesse); and his stepgrandchildren, Merritt Tongen, Candice and Andrew Lance.
