She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy Samuel and Flora Elizabeth Freeman Smith; her husband James D. Kilby; and her grandson Rodney Phillips. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Crawford (Darwin), Sammy Kilby (Gina) and Sharon Rogers; and her grandchildren, Samantha Hambleton, Tyler Kilby, Caleigh Burgess, Tracy McLeod, Angela McKissack, Amanda Robinson and Neva Dehart.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Haywood County Animal Shelter or Sarges.
