It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Zackeroff of Waxhaw, North Carolina, born in Frostburg, Maryland, who passed away on January 15, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph McDade and Margaret McDade; her husband George Zackeroff; her sister Patricia Houldersheld; and her half-sisters, Bertha Miller and Geraldine Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her sons, Bill McDade (Kim), David Hunt (Jane) and Michael Hunt (Pam); her grandchildren, Jonathan, John, Jessie, Tawnya, Nicole, Maria, Laney, Matthew and Tess; her great grandchildren, Lauren and Logan; her stepchildren, Larry Zackeroff and Francis "Toots" Moldovan; and her half-sister Delores Graham.
In lieu of flowers, Mrs. Zackeroff requested memorials be made to Amazing Grace Lutheran Church, PO Box 46, Waxhaw, NC 28173.
