He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester Winfield Minor and Rose Evelyn Davis Minor. He is survived by: his son David Richard (Sanda) of Pittsboro, NC; his wife Jane Ann Morris Minor; his children, Carol Minor Potter (Stanley) of Wake Forest, NC and Bruce Minor (Heidi) of Jamestown, NC.; his grandchildren, Rachel Potter Mount (Tyler), Noelle Potter Bass (Bynum), Christianne Potter Moore (Daniel), William Stanley "Duke" Potter, IV (Stephanie), Hayes Richard Potter, Lane Nicholson Minor and Carole Jane "CJ" Minor; his great grandchildren, Leland, Grafton, Haddon, Juliet Mount, Rylea, Mahogani "Mae" Bass, Samuel, Selah, Story, Sophia Moore, Malachi and Dustin "DJ" Potter; his sister Nola Minor McAdoo (Gary) of Summerfield, FL; and also Shannon Settles (Mary) of Florida. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, and one sister-in-law, all of Georgia, and many nieces and nephews.
