It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy Jean Dement (Wake Forest, North Carolina), who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph B. Medlin and Mable Ransdell Medlin; and her siblings, Joseph P. Medlin and Mildred Edith Wright. She is survived by: her brother Roosevelt Medlin; her husband Toby Dallas Dement; her daughters, June Kaye Smith (James) and Audrey Denton Kellogg (Douglas); her stepdaughter Symantha Sass (Terry); her grandchildren, Janie Lathrop (Brandon), LeighAnne Kellogg, Greyson Kellogg, David Sass, Andrew Sass, Rebekah Goode (Shane) and Kaitlyn Sass; her great grandchildren, Josie and Elaine; and her friends, Margaret, Portia, Diane and Louise.
Memorial contributions in Nancy's honor can be made to Franklinton Baptist Church.
