He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Potter and Katherine Ryan Potter. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Potter; his daughters, Michelle Potter of Chapel Hill and Jennifer Hughes (Robert) of Holly Springs; his brothers, James Potter of Texas and Michael Potter of California; and his grandchildren, Alex, Dylan, Zoe and Mia.
