He is survived by: his wife Carol Ashton; his children, Thomas M. Twigg, Jr. (Beverly), Mark Twigg (Marina), Tomla Walton (William), Birdie Lou Swann and Dee Issette; his stepsons, Jacob Ashton (Jennifer), James Ashton (Tammy) and Joseph Ashton (Vicky); and his sisters, Doris Allen, Jane Dignan and Nyoka Abel. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
