He was predeceased by: his parents, Allie Gibson and Margaret Edwards; and his brother Joseph Edwards. He is survived by: his wife Judith Lane Edwards; his son Adam Garnett Edwards; his sister Ann Jessup (Tommie); and his sister-in-law Barbara Edwards. He is also survived by one niece and three nephews and many cousins.
