He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ramsey and Esther Powell Ramsey; and his siblings, Robert Ramsey, Geraldine Gowen and Linda Autry.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Gaskins Ramsey; his daughters, Joanna Majette (Jeff) of Winterville, Cheryl Ramsey (Greg Hinchman) and Cynthia Rock (Jeff) of Tampa, FL; and his grandchildren, Hillary Taylor, Ramsey Covington (Brandie), Lawrence Majette (Kendyl) and Elizabeth Majette.
