She was predeceased by: her husband John Lowe; her parents, Lawrence Howard and Mamie Howard; and her brothers, William Douglas Howard and Elwood Lawrence Howard.

She is survived by: her daughter Sandy Elizabeth Lowe of Plymouth, NC; and her brothers, Rev. Bobby Howard of Vanceboro and Tommy Howard of Vanceboro. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
