We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2023, at the age of 84, Rebecca Louise Ballantine Miller of Vanceboro, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Marvin Ballantine and Sara "Sallie" Christine Lane Ballantine; and her sister Sara Christine Ballantine McCutchen. She is survived by: her sister Carolyn Ballantine Inabinet; her daughters, Patricia Ann Miller (Joe Barnes), Susan Ballantine Miller Price and Nancy Crockett Miller Childs (Edward); and her grandchildren, Sarah Kate Childs, John Edward Crockett Childs and Emily Louise Childs.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association Eastern North Carolina Chapter, or to Christ Episcopal Church of New Bern ECW outreach fund.
