He is survived by: his children, Johnny Vernon of Greenville and Jo Ellen Hudson (Robert Ayden); his grandchildren, Chelsie Hudson, Robert Hudson, III (Irene), Lauren Lang (Dustin), Cayla Vernon and Cole Vernon; his great grandchildren, Kenleigh Garris, Harper Garris and Alex Hudson; and his siblings, Ronnie Vernon of Texas, Sharon Edmundson of Fountain and Betty Maness of Ayden.
