She was predeceased by: her parents, William Ira and Macie Fornes Gardner; her husband Paul Willis; her sons, Ronald Earl Willis and Paul "William" Willis; her granddaughters, Stephanie Willis and Dana Willis; and her siblings, Ira Lee Gardner, Ruth G. Cox and Joyce G. Ipock (Gerald Dawn Green).
She is survived by: her son Charles Edward Willis (Becky) of Fort Barnwell; her daughter-in-law Gloria Willis of Vanceboro; her grandchildren, Jerrod Willis (Renae), Julie Simpson (Jason) and Bobby Willis (Melissa); her great grandchildren, Brian Willis, Alyssa Willis, Gavin Willis, Peyton Simpson, Ian Simpson, Hayli Willis, Jordan Willis and Brittney Welland; her great great grandchildren, Owen Welland and Clara Welland; and her sisters, Maxine G. Highcove of Jacksonville, FL and Nadane G. Waters of Vanceboro.
