She was predeceased by: her siblings, Garson Heman Burns, Jr. (Joan), Jerry Burns (Anne), Macie Burns and Marie Bell. She is survived by: her children, Bruce Wilson (Bobbie) of Tryon and Carole Wynn (Joe) of Apex; and her brothers, James Burns (Judy) of Easley, John Burns (Sue) of Spartanburg, Don Burns (Gail) of Brevard and Harold Burns (Candice) of Landrum. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
