He was predeceased by: his parents, William Randolph Searcy and Hester Ruff Searcy. He is survived by: his wife Lois Jackson Searcy; his children, Noah Searcy of Asheville, Wanda Fabian (Todd Haney) of Arden and Angie Searcy of Fletcher; his granddaughter Ashley Searcy of Hendersonville; his great grandchildren, Matthew, Gideon, Gracie and Solomon; his siblings, Milo Searcy (Ann) of Sunny View and Dallie Cox (Donald) of Hendersonville; and his stepdaughters, Betty Gibbs of Sunny View and Teresa Edwards (Laddy) of Sunny View. He is also survived by two step-grandchildren and multiple step-great-grandchildren.
