He is survived by: his wife Caroline Moore Chapman of Tryon; his children, Lynne Chapman Mandell (Robert) of Pace, FL, Susannah Robinson (Kris) of Jacksonville, FL and Thomson Flynn Moore Chapman (Jordan) of Washington, D. C; and his grandchildren, Gentry (Rob), Finley, Effie, Tucker, Harris, Toby, Tanner, Sarah and Luke. He is also survived by cousins, nephews, nieces, great-nephews, and great-nieces, as well as countless friends, squadron mates, and coworkers.
