He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert David Cantrell of Green Creek and Joan Melton Cantrell; his wife Mary Cantrell; his daughter Jessica Bren (Scott) of Green Creek; his stepson Adam Page (Summer) of Green Creek; his grandchildren, Mariah, Carter and Brynna; his brother Michael Cantrell (Cathy) of Landrum; and his nephew Mason Cantrell.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
