He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Waggoner Pruitt; and his siblings, Fred L. Pruitt, Jr. and Mary Opal Pruitt. He is survived by: his children, Bryan Pruitt (Nadine) of Sacramento, CA and Dee Ann Payne (Greg) of Troutman, NC; and his grandchildren, Ashley Lowry (James) and Brandon Payne.
