With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Cox of Troutman, North Carolina, who passed away on October 8, 2021 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Cox and Lucille Cox; and his wife Ginger Higgins Cox. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Cox Bowman (Beau), Catherine Cox Stumtf, Thomas Cox II (Daysi) and James Owen Cox (Tangie); his stepchildren, Lisa Mayfield and Scott Rymer (Jenny Poliquin); his grandchildren, Johnny Bowman (Jamie), John Harding, Stephen Bowman (Laura), Anna Bowman Whitehouse (Jake), Seth Hall, Sam Hall, Simon Hall, Sarah Siebrecht, Alex Cox and Gabe Cox; and his great grandchildren, Kate Bowman, Elizabeth Bowman, Charlotte Bowman, Avery Bowman, Jenny Bowman, Sophia Siebrecht, Phoebe Siebrecht and Noah Siebrecht.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Troutman Baptist Church or the National Parkinson Foundation, 200 SE 1st Street, Suite 800, Miami, FL 33131.

“In loving memory of Thomas Cox, Tommie,Daisy,Jimmie,Scott,Lisa,Kathy,and family. I had the best trip this August. My Uncle spoiled my sister and myself. We went down to visit for 4 days. Fishing,he cooked for us everday,had an daily agenda for us. We saw family we hadn't seen in years. Him and I had a bond. I dont know how to explain it. The memories we crammed in a week in june and August I will cherish forever. I love you,and miss you. Give everyone a hug love you all Shelley and Tammy”
