He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen Watt Nash, Sr. and Betty Sherrill Nash; his daughter-in-law Teresa Hope Nash; his brother-in-law J. B. Deal; and his brother Jeffrey Sherrill Nash.
He is survived by: his wife Emily Johnson Nash of Statesville; his children, Laura Nash Jordan (Randy) of Statesville and Scott Nash of Statesville; his grandchildren, Chauncy Jordan (Meredith) of Summerville, SC and Myranda Nash of Brevard, NC; his great grandchild Benjamin Jordan; his siblings, Therry Nash Deal of New Hill, NC and Barry Nash (Marsha) of Statesville; his nephews, Brad Deal (Holly) of Lilburn, GA and Adam Nash (Lindsay) of Raleigh; and his niece Melaney Deal Williams of New Hill, NC. He is also survived by 8 great nieces and nephews.
