It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Michael Dopilka of Troutman, North Carolina, born in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, who passed away on October 15, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Dopilka and Anastasia Peratiatko Dopilka; his son Dale Andrew Dopilka; and his siblings, John, Joseph Dopilka and Olga Laubach.
He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Dopilka Riddell (Michael) of Troutman; his sister-in-law Elsie Dopilka; and his former wife Rita Elm Gallagher. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Catholic Charities of Pittsburgh or the March of Dimes.
