It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn Sowell in Troutman, North Carolina, born in Rock Hill, South Carolina, who passed away on September 4, 2020, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Douglas T. Scott and Erlene McDowell Scott; and her siblings, Donald Scott and Barbara Scott. She is survived by: her close friend Ron Privett of Troutman, NC; her sons, James C. Sowell (Kim) of Rock Hill and Justin K. Sowell (Anna) of Rock Hill; her siblings, Monroe Scott (Sharon) of Rock Hill and Mary Leopard (Steve) of Rock Hill; her sister-in-law Claudette Scott of Rock Hill; and her granddaughter Temperance "Tes" Sowell of Rock Hill.
