It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Compton of Troutman, North Carolina, who passed away on May 29, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Coolidge Compton and Myrtle Sue Morrison Compton; and his sister Judy C. Watt. He is survived by: his siblings, Ronald C. "Ron" Compton (Brenda) of Statesville and Susan C. Deal Sampsel (Harry) of Statesville. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
