It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Whitener of Troutman, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2020, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Whitener and Mary Conger Whitener; and his brother-in-law John Larew. He is survived by: his sisters, Janice Larew of Troutman and Linda Franklin of Statesville; his nephews, Brantley Larew of Cornelius, Jason Franklin (Sheri) of Clayton, NC and Mark Franklin of Troutman; his great-nieces, Lillian and Piper Franklin; and his great-nephew John Kasay Franklin.
