He was predeceased by: his wife Vada Kathleen Sluder Lewis; and his sisters, Clora Lefevers "Jenny" of Virginia and Jane Lakey. He is survived by: his children, Larry Marvin Lewis, Darlene Lewis McGuire (Robert Allen) of Sugar Grove, NC and Carolyn Lewis Lakey (Richard Allen) of Todd; his sister Mattie Lefevers of Creston; his grandchildren, Samantha Lewis Combs, Genna Lewis, Robert Max McGuire, Monica McGuire Harrison, Stacey Hartzog and Brandy Mae Lewis Grindstaff; and his stepgrandchildren, Steven Greer and Marie Greer. He is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
