He is survived by: his parent Lucille Cox Byerley; his sons, Derrick Byerley of Taylorsville and Matthew Byerley (Catherine) of Conover; his sister Linda Byerley of Castlewood; his nephew Chris Alexander (Carrie) of Abingdon; and his grandchildren, Chesney Byerley and Brooke Byerley.
